India-based Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has received a Letter of Empanelment from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam. The empanelment was issued for work under Component-B of the PM KUSUM B scheme, implemented in the state as PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. The work covers designing, making, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, and starting off-grid solar water pumps. These pumps are available in DC and AC models with 2 HP, 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacity. They are meant to help farmers by providing solar-powered irrigation. The order was valued at INR 4.76 crore. Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals was selected to execute the project through Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam’s empanelment process.
