Gujarat-based Credence Solar, a solar manufacturer, showcased its high-efficiency TOPCon module at RenewX 2025 in Chennai. On display was the company’s the Quasar N series, a 725 W bifacial TOPCon module. The module is built with n-type TOPCon technology using 132 half-cut cells and a 210 mm wafer format, featuring an 18-busbar layout. This high-power module achieves 23.35% efficiency and a bifaciality of up to 85%. It measures 2,384 mm × 1,303 mm × 35 mm, weighs 39.75 kg, and has a glass-to-glass structure with an anodized aluminum frame. Rated for 1,500 V DC systems, it included IP68-rated junction boxes and three bypass diodes. The module comes with 12-year product and 30-year linear power warranty. Certified by BIS and approved under ALMM, the module is listed for up to 710 W output.. Credence Solar supplied 20 MW to the Bangalore Metro and is planning 5 GW module and 2 GW cell capacity by 2030 and 2027.
