India-based solar module manufacturer Cosmic PV Power Limited commissioned an additional 1.6 GW production line, increasing its total manufacturing capacity to 3 GW in January 2026. The company stated that TOPCon G12R modules have become a preferred option for Independent Power Producer projects requiring high-efficiency solutions. In addition, it is developing a BESS plant in Surat as part of its broader manufacturing and storage expansion strategy. In parallel, it has secured 60 acres in Madhya Pradesh for a new Solar Cell line, with construction scheduled to commence in March 2026.
