The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, a New Delhi-based power sector regulator, is examining Petition No. 776/AT/2025 under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003.​ The petition seeks adoption of tariff for a 170 MW grid-connected PV project selected through a competitive bidding process under the Ministry of Power’s July 28, 2023 solar tariff guidelines. The petition has been submitted by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited and another petitioner, with Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited named as respondent in the proceedings. The case was listed for hearing on December 9, 2025 before three Commission Members , but was adjourned because the coram that had partly heard the matter was not available. According to the Record of Proceedings issued by Joint Chief (Law) T.D. Pant, the hearing has now been rescheduled to January 6, 2026.​
170 MW solar project tariff petition adjourned by CERC New Delhi
CERC has rescheduled RUMSL’s 170 MW tariff adoption petition for Waaree Forever Energies, as the matter was partially heard and the coram was unavailable.
