The Central Wool Development Board has invited tenders for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plants at multiple locations. The tender includes systems with capacities of 250 kWp, 35 kWp, and 50 kWp to be installed at facilities in Rajasthan and Arunachal Pradesh. The project duration has been defined as three months from the notice to proceed, including one month for trial and run. A defect liability period of 12 months and comprehensive maintenance for 12 months post-completion have been specified. Bidding is being conducted through a two-bid system on the CPPP portal. The tender fee has been fixed at INR 2,000 (~ $22), while the Earnest Money Deposit stands at INR 500,000 (~ $5,500). Bid submission closes on 22 January 2026 and its validity has been set at 90 days.
