Germany headquartered Axitec Energy India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the commissioning of 1 MW grid-connected solar power plant at Star Pipes & Fittings Pvt Ltd in Thrissur, Kerala. The project was delivered by KEFA SOLAR ENERGY. The project uses AXITEC TOPCon 585 W modules with around 1,710 panels installed across nearly 1,00,000 sq. ft, or about 2.3 acres. The plant is expected to generate about 13.5 L to 14.5 L kWh annually and offset nearly 1,17,000 kg of COâ‚‚ each year. The installation is designed to support industrial loads while reducing dependence on conventional grid power.
