Switzerland-based Avalon ST, known for LED solar simulators, has exhibited its solutions for manufacturing, labs, and space applications at RenewX Chennai. During the interaction, Markus Hoeffgen, General Manager of Avalon ST from Shanghai, shared that their products achieve A++, A+, A++ classification, while high-end machines reached A+++, A++, A+++. The machines delivered Pmax repeatability of 0.05% and pulse lengths between 20 and 500 milliseconds, making them suitable for testing high-capacitive panels like Topcon and HJT. As Markus highlighted, the company’s automated uniformity robot completes uniformity mapping in just ten minutes. He also mentioned that Avalon launched the Nexon Neo last autumn for the Indian manufacturing market, offering improved quality and accuracy within the price range of a traditional Xenon machine. Avalon’s portfolio further includes the Nexun Mobile Lab, Nexun Pro, Nexun Perovskite, Nexun Cosmo-AMO Solar Simulator, Automated Uniformity Robot, and Nexun Ultra.
