Denmark-based infrastructure fund manager, A.P. Moller Capital has announced an investment in India through its Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II by forming a renewable energy joint venture with Rays Power Infra. The joint venture was established to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects across India, with initial projects under development totaling around 900 MW. This investment represented A.P. Moller Capital Funds’ first entry into the Indian market and followed its earlier renewable investments across Southeast Asia and Africa. The partnership leveraged Rays Power Infra’s project development and EPC experience alongside A.P. Moller Capital’s infrastructure investment background. The transaction was subject to customary closing conditions and was expected to close in H1 2026.
