New Delhi headquarters AMPIN Energy Transition has detailed progress on its shovel-ready 120 MW solar project in Maharashtra. It confirmed that grid connectivity from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) was completed. The company also stated that 360 acres of land for the project were fully acquired. AMPIN Energy reported that 38.8 MW was secured through an anchor agreement with a data centre and noted its track record of delivering more than 20 open-access projects in the state. It stated that power could be supplied within four months under current regulations and added that commercial and industrial consumers could access green power at an estimated 40% lower cost. Prior to this update, AMPIN Energy Transition had obtained FMO funding for its India projects, marking another stage in its broader rollout strategy.
