India-headquartered Adani Renewable Energy Fifty-Six, subsidiary of Adani Green Energy (AGEL), has started a 50 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat. This takes AGEL’s total renewable energy capacity to 14.3 GW. The plant got approval on May 14 and started running from May 15, 2025. It helps AGEL move closer to its goal of building 50 GW of renewable energy by 2030 as part of its plan to grow in clean energy.
