ACME Solar, an India-based renewable energy developer, has announced that it's subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja has signed a 25-year PPA with SECI. SECI was reported to have approved the agreement after tariff adoption and regulatory permissions. The PPA covers a 200 MW solar project integrated with a 400 MWh storage system. ACME Solar stated this signing completes the left over capacity from the 350 MW award, following the earlier 150 MW PPA signed in October 2024. The project is required to meet defined CUF thresholds and availability conditions across solar and evening peak hours. ACME Solar added that commissioning is targeted for June 2027 since grid connectivity is already secured.
