India-based ACME Solar Holdings Ltd commissioned 112.5 MW under Phase 2 of its Sikar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, raising the total commissioned capacity to 165 MW out of 300 MW. 112.5 MW was commissioned on May 19, 2025, after 52.5 MW was added earlier in May. The remaining 135 MW was under commissioning. ACME Solarโs total capacity increased from 2.5925 GW to 2.705 GW. The Sikar Solar Project was expected to produce 780 million units of electricity each year. Power generated would be sold on exchanges on a merchant basis and allocated for optimal commercial use.ย
