India-based ACME Solar Holdings has fully commissioned its 300 MW Sikar Solar Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, increasing its operational renewable energy capacity to 2.890 GW. The project, covering 1,300 acres in a high solar irradiation zone, is expected to generate approximately 780 million units of electricity annually. It was developed under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme with a tariff of ₹ 3.05 per kWh, and the Power Purchase Agreement is expected to be signed soon. ACME also commissioned its first wind energy project with 50 MW capacity in Shapar, Gujarat, which has a 25-year PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
