India-headqurtered Husk Power Systems expanded its portfolio of community solar minigrids to over 400 rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The projects powered more than 1.5 million people and 30,000 small businesses. These included 20 MW of solar generation and a 2,500-kilometer T&D network. The company estimated its operations displaced 3,000 diesel generators and avoided 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. Husk planned a 100 MW project pipeline across multiple countries to support future growth. A pre-IPO equity and debt financing round was scheduled for the second half of 2025. For 2025, Husk projected a 100% revenue increase and a 2.5-fold rise in its customer base.
