Hudson Sustainable Group (HSG) has successfully sold its Japanese PV portfolio to Tokyo-based Solar Schumann GK. This marks HSG's second exit in the Japanese market after acquiring 33 solar projects in 2019. The transaction aligns with HSG's strategy of building and selling renewable energy assets, allowing the company to focus on expanding its capital-light operations through Horizon Energy KK. According to HSG, this sale demonstrates its ability to identify and develop high-quality solar projects that attract institutional investors. Mizuho Securities played a crucial role in facilitating the deal.
