US-based Horizonview Technologies has introduced Insight 2.0, its updated aerial solar inspection platform, aligned with IEC 62446-3 standards. The update included fault detection complaint with IEC 62446-3, IR and RGB orthomosaics for full-site thermal and visual coverage, and transparent infrastructure layers. It features enhanced detection and filtering for critical faults, advanced reporting tools with instant export options, and a faster user interface. Mannedaircraft were used to scan several gigawatts of utility-scale solar, allowing faster data capture, higher resolution, and lower cost per megawatt than drone-only methods. The platform enabled issue identification, prioritization, and resolution with full transparency.
