Singapore-based vertically integrated PV company Gstarhas establisheda partnership with a Middle Eastern consortium led by UAE-based investment firm Siraj Group. The partnership, initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to develop a 2GW solar module manufacturing facility featuring high-efficiency n-type technology. The consortium led by Siraj Group includesGalaxico and Stark Consulting. This agreement was set to be signed in mid-August, with construction expected to begin in November 2024.According to InfoLink statistics, the overall Middle Eastern photovoltaic market is expected to grow steadily, with demand potentially reaching 29to35GW by 2027.
