Three solar parks with a combined capacity exceeding 100 MWp have been inaugurated in Schleswig-Holstein, attended by stakeholders and political representatives. These parks, located in Nienbüttel (21.5 MWp), Agethorst (70.9 MWp), and Kohlenbek (10.3 MWp) in the Steinburg district, are the largest portfolio developed by photovoltaic specialist greentech. They will collectively generate enough electricity to power approximately 20,000 four-person households and reduce CO2 emissions by around 40,000 tonnes annually. The €70 million project was financed by DKB, Germany’s leading financier of renewable energy projects. Additionally, a fund advised by EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM), a subsidiary of Evangelische Bank, invested in the Nienbüttel and Agethorst projects.
