China-based GoodWe has introduced its GT Series String Inverter, tailored for the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, offering power ratings of 100 kW, 110 kW, and 125 kW. The inverters feature up to 10 Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs), 150% DC input oversizing, and 110% AC output overloading for enhanced energy capture. Designed for diverse installations, they offer a lightweight build, low noise levels, and a high DC input of 21A per string. Safety is emphasized with IP66 and C5 corrosion protection, surge protection, and optional AFCI. According to GoodWe, a deployment in China’s automotive sector saw 16 units generating over 2,130,000 kWh in one year, cutting energy costs by RMB 800,000 (~$110,000). The GT Series comes with operational reliability in temperatures up to 45°C and an optional PID recovery function.
