GivePower, an award-winning nonprofit addressing global water and electrification needs, celebrates its partnership with solar module manufacturer Silfab Solar. Since 2020, Silfab has donated 1,955 solar panels, powering projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Angola, and Kenya. The company claims that these panels powered the Congo Peace School and Garamba National Park in the DRC, benefiting over 1,000 households and 3,982 people with support from Congo Power and Google. In Angola, panels installed through the Okavango Delta project, in partnership with Wild Bird Trust, powered community centers and approximately 900 homes across 21 villages. Recently, the Makindu Solar Water Farm Mobi+ opened in Makueni County, Kenya, providing clean drinking water to over 26,000 people.
