GameChange Solar, a global provider of solar tracker solutions has surpassed 10 GW of its Genius Tracker systems deployed in the hurricane-prone Gulf of Mexico region. Two utility-scale projects, totaling 485 MW, were under construction in Jackson and Victoria counties along the Texas Gulf Coast. The projects included a 252.2 MW system, which began deliveries, and a 232.2 MW system, which was over 50% complete and on track for early completion. Together, the installations supported nearly 900,000 solar modules, providing clean energy to over 70,000 homes within the ERCOT grid. The Genius Tracker system was chosen for its proven resilience to hurricane-force winds, crucial for the Gulf Coast region.
