GameChange Solar has inaugurated a new factory, training, service, and technical support center in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil, exclusively for its Genius Tracker solar trackers. Operational since November 2023, the facility can produce 2.5 GW of trackers, expandable to meet rising demand. Beyond the local market, it will also supply other Latin American countries. The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) grants FINAME certification to ensure compliance with Brazil's content and manufacturing requirements. Absolar forecasts that over BRL 38.9 billion ($7.8 billion) will be invested in solar PV in Brazil by 2024, with over 9.3 GW of installations expected this year.
