G2 Power, a smart grid specialist, recently initiated commercial operations for the Dongwon No. 1 Solar Power Plant in February 2024. This 1,605 kW solar facility, operating as an Independent Power Producer under a special purpose company , is the inaugural project of G2 Energy, established through G2 Power's investment in July 2023. The plant utilizes the roof of Dongwon Systems' Hoengseong factory in Gangwon-do, South Korea, covering 12,727.5 square meters, and operates on a 20-year plan.
