US-based FTC Solar, a solar tracker system provider, announced a supply agreement with Dunlieh Energy for over 1 GW of solar projects, set to begin in 2025. The first project under this agreement is the 500 MW Situla Energy Project in Banner County, Nebraska, located about 30 miles from the Wyoming border. This utility-scale solar and battery storage project will generate over 225 construction jobs and contribute $1.4 million annually in nameplate capacity taxes, primarily benefiting local schools and the county. Tracker deliveries for this project are expected to start in the second half of 2025.
