Jakson Green, part of the India-based Jakson Group, has secured a credit facility of INR 2.96 billion ($35.4 million) from First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Mumbai branch. This funding will drive its international expansion, beginning with a solar PV and battery storage project in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The project features a 250 MW solar power plant and a 63 MW/126 MWh battery energy storage system. Headquartered in Dubai, Jakson Green plans to expand its presence in the Middle East, Africa, CIS, and Europe. Jakson Green’s expertise extends to operations and maintenance of new energy assets, utility-scale storage, waste-to-energy, green hydrogen, and green ammonia projects, the company claims.
