US-based Exus Renewables North America secured $312 million in financing for the TAG project. The project includes a 140 MW solar facility and a 50 MW/200 MWh battery system. It is in Sandoval County, New Mexico, and spans 1,000 acres. Crédit Agricole and ING Americas led the financing package. The project will use Tesla Megapack battery technology. It is expected to be completed in Q2 2025. Energy generated will support a Meta data center. Over 250 temporary construction jobs are being created. Long-term operational roles will follow completion. Sandoval County and local schools will receive $17 million in benefits over 30 years. This project builds on Exus' acquisition of a renewable portfolio in New Mexico. Norton Rose Fulbright, led by Doug Fried, represented Exus in this transaction.
