Bechtel begins 226 MW DC Nevada solar project

Bechtel, headquartered in Virginia, has commenced construction on the 226 MW DC Escape Solar project in Lincoln County, Nevada. Developed by Estuary Power with support from the Ullico Infrastructure Fund, the project spans 900 acres and incorporates 389,000 bifacial PV panels. The project will provide clean energy to regional customers, including MGM Resorts, Overton Power District, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas. Bechtel’s responsibilities encompass EPC, commissioning, and project management. The project is scheduled for completion by Q3 2025, this project forms part of Bechtel’s broader US solar portfolio, which collectively generates renewable energy for over half a million homes annually.
