Epic Energy Ltd, an India-based leader in the solar EPC sector, has partnered with Niva Ecotech Pvt Ltd, also based in India, to develop a 35 MWp solar park in Solapur, Maharashtra. This initiative will be managed by Epic Renewable Projects Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Epic Energy Ltd. According to Epic Energy, multiple sites around Solapur have been evaluated for the project. Initially, the solar park will feature a 35 MW capacity, with plans to expand to 140 MW over the next two years. Epic Energy plans to leverage Niva Ecotech’s expertise from several successful projects in Solapur. Epic is also negotiating with major corporates to establish solar plants under the Group Captive Open Access system at this new park.
