German solar company ENVIRIA has received USD 200 million in funding from BlackRock's Global Renewable Power IV (GRP IV) fund. This investment will be used to develop 2,000 commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects across Germany. These projects are expected to contribute 2.3 GW of renewable energy capacity to the country's grid. ENVIRIA aims to achieve 1.7 GW of this capacity by 2029, building on its existing portfolio of 500 completed C&I solar projects.
