Enphase Energy has recently started shipping IQ8X and IQ8P-3P Commercial Microinverters from US manufacturing facilities with higher domestic content. These models carry a "DOM" SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) to denote increased US-made components. The new microinverters help solar projects meet Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) domestic content bonus tax credit requirements with less additional US-made equipment needed. Enphase’s US-made IQ8 Microinverters are also listed on the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) Solar Equipment Lists, signifying compliance with national safety and performance standards. The domestic content bonus tax credit applies to commercial asset owners, including businesses and PPA/lease providers.
