Israel’s Enlight Renewable Energy, through its US subsidiary Clenera, signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Arizona Public Service (APS) for its Snowflake A project. The project, located near Holbrook, Arizona, will include 600 MW of solar power generation and 1900 MWh of energy storage. Currently in the final stages of pre-construction permitting, Snowflake A is expected to reach ready-to-build status by Q3 2025 and begin operations by mid-2027. The PPA includes a termination clause if certain permits are not obtained by March 2025. The project is part of Enlight’s “Connect and Expand” strategy, leveraging existing infrastructure to reduce costs.
