Israel-based Enlight Renewable Energy has completed its Solar and Storage Cluster, comprising 12 installations across northern and southern Israel. The Cluster boasts has a total solar capacity of 254 MW and a storage capacity of 594 MWh. Portions of the project began operating in 2023, with full grid connections finalized in 2024. According to Enlight, the electricity generated will be sold through its supplier division to corporate clients, including Soda Stream and Applied Materials, and households via a joint venture with Electra Power. Enlight claims the Cluster generates 50% of clean energy under Israel’s new regulations. Additionally, the company highlights partnerships with agricultural communities to boost regional energy and economic stability.
