Enlight Renewable Energy and its US-based subsidiary, Clenera, have commissioned the Atrisco Solar & Energy Storage project. Located near Albuquerque, New Mexico, the facility features 364 MW of solar power and 1.2 GWh of storage. A 20-year PPA with the Public Service Company of New Mexico supports the project. Enlight expects $51-55 million in annual revenue. Construction costs were reduced by $20 million, totaling $809 million. Financing milestones concluded on December 13, 2024. The project can power 110,000 homes annually. Enlight and Clenera are now developing three new Western US projects: Country Acres, Roadrunner, and Quail Ranch. These add 810 MW of solar and over 2 GWh of storage by 2026. Quail Ranch will expand Atrisco’s infrastructure under the “Connect and Expand” strategy.
