Enfinity Global Inc., a renewable energy company, has finalized a minority sale of its 400 MW US operating portfolio to Kyushu Electric Power Co. Inc. Kyushu Electric acquired a 40% stake, leaving Enfinity with 60% and management control. The deal, signed in September 2023, encompasses 28 solar PV plants across California, North Carolina, and Idaho. Enfinity plans to expand its US portfolio to 11.6 GW, alongside strategic investments and acquisitions, like the recent 546 MW solar asset acquisition from CS Energy in Colorado. Enfinity’s strategy involves partnering with like-minded investors such as Kyushu Electric to pursue long-term objectives in targeted energy markets.
