Enel Green Power has commissioned a 93 MW solar capacity in Australia at the Girgarre Solar Farm Project. In collaboration with Lesson Group, the project involves installing approximately 169,500 PV modules and necessary infrastructure in Victoria’s Campaspe Shire, located 10 km northwest of Stanhope. This initiative is expected to power around 43,000 Australian homes annually. The project has a projected operational lifespan of 35 years, aiming to produce about 200 GWh of energy per year. With an investment exceeding $140 million, construction has taken 18 months. All required development approvals, including those from the Campaspe Shire Council, have been obtained, specifying conditions for construction, operation, decommissioning, and administrative activities.
