Eneco and Air Products sign 10-Year renewable energy agreement

Air Products, a global industrial gases company, solidifies its sustainability commitment by signing a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Eneco, aiming to source the majority of its energy for nitrogen and oxygen production in the Netherlands from the Vlagtwedde PV farm. This strategic move is set to reduce emissions equivalent to 45,000 households’ carbon footprint. It marks a pivotal step in Air Products’ broader strategy, aligning with previous initiatives such as building Europe’s largest blue hydrogen facility and establishing a green hydrogen truck refueling station in Rotterdam.
