US-based Emeren Group Ltd has sold a 65 MW solar project portfolio in Germany to Trina Solar International System Business Unit (ISBU), the development arm of Trinasolar Co., Ltd. The portfolio contains three projects: one in Saarland and other two Agri-PV projects located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony. Expected to close by H2-2025, the projects may include the integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to enhance efficiency and operational value. Trina Solar ISBU focuses on utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, managing development, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations of the projects. This transaction reinforces Emeren’s presence in Germany’s renewable energy sector while expanding Trina Solar ISBU’s portfolio and project capabilities.
