US-headquartered Emeren Group Ltd signed a 7-year PPA for a solar farm in Poland’s Silesia region, which supplied 14,958 MWh of renewable energy annually to a multinational consumer goods company. The project mitigated 16,150 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions yearly, supported Poland’s energy diversification, and improved local energy security. Construction provided jobs for 80 workers, including Ukrainians, while ongoing operations created 10 long-term positions. The solar farm generated 90,000 PLN in property taxes and 167,000 PLN in land taxes annually, benefiting local infrastructure and community development.
