US based renewable energy investment firm, Syncarpha Capital has announced that its first Maryland community solar project, SynerGen Panorama III, received Permission to Operate in December 2025. The approval enabled the project to supply electricity to Baltimore Gas and Electric customers. The ground-mounted photovoltaic facility comprised three arrays totaling 6.414 MW (DC) and was built by Miller Bros. on about 26 acres of the capped Abingdon Landfill. The project’s output was allocated to residential subscribers within the utility’s service area, including low-to-moderate income households, through community solar subscriptions. Syncarpha Capital retained long-term ownership and operations of the facility. Customer enrollment and support were managed in partnership with Neighborhood Sun.
