Romania headquartered WALDEVAR Energy has announced the signing of a contract to develop a photovoltaic park of at least 200 MW in Niculești, Romania, for Entek Elektrik, a subsidiary of Tüpraş. The project represents Entek Elektrik’s first investment in Europe and supports its expansion across wind, solar, and hydropower assets. WALDEVAR Energy acts as full EPC contractor, managing design, construction, installation and providing two years of operation and maintenance services. The contract becomes the largest in WALDEVAR Energy’s portfolio, within nearly 2.5 GW of secured projects across Romania and Europe. Project implementation involves more than 200 workers and specialists and contributes to local employment, business activity and energy infrastructure development in Dâmbovița County.
