Voltalia, a Paris-headquartered renewable energy producer and service provider, has secured 20-year indexed tariffs for 68 MW of solar projects in Italy through the FERX auction. Voltalia has stated that Voltalia Italy has been operating from Milan since 2019 and Agrigento since 2022, with a development pipeline of more than 500 MW of solar and storage projects. The company has more than 100 MW of authorised capacity in Italy, of which 68 MW now benefit from these long-term tariffs. The planned solar plants are expected to generate electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of over 110,499 inhabitants and to avoid 58,750 tons of COâ‚‚ emissions each year once they are operational. Voltalia group currently operates 24 MW in the country through Voltalia Italy and its subsidiary Helexia. Recently, Philadelphia Solar has signed a 500 MW module supply agreement with Voltaliafor upcoming projects.
