Visiolar GmbH, a German renewable energy developer, has brought a 6.5 MW solar park in Badingen, Brandenburg, into operation. The project covered 5.77 hectares and is equipped with around 11,000 photovoltaic modules installed across 27 rows. The facility is expected to generate approximately 6.5 million kWh of electricity annually. Based on projected output, the plant is estimated to supply electricity to about 1,700 households. The annual carbon dioxide savings were stated at nearly 3,000 tons through grid displacement. The project completed and connected to the grid within the Oberhavel district. The commissioning ceremony was held with representatives from the municipality and local authorities.
