Düsseldorf based Uniper, European energy company, has made final investment decisions for five new solar projects. The projects are located in Poland and the United Kingdom and have a combined capacity of about 288 MW. Four projects in Poland accounted for around 219 MW, while the Berryhill solar project in Scotland was planned at 68.8 MW. With these decisions, Uniper had about 568 MW of solar capacity in progress, including six other projects of up to 280 MW already under construction. These investments were part of Uniper’s plan to invest around €8 billion in growth and transformation projects by the early 2030s.

Solar investment decisions covered five projects in Poland and the United Kingdom, adding 288 MW and lifting Uniper’s active solar pipeline to 568 MW.
