France-based TSE has signed a 15-year physical PPA with STMicroelectronics for renewable electricity supply. The contract covers about 780 GWh from three French solar parks totaling 43 MW. Power delivery was scheduled to begin in 2027 for STMicroelectronics’ sites in France. STMicroelectronics has said that the agreement was its second PPA in the country. The company noted that similar contracts were already in place in Italy, Malaysia and Morocco. The company added that the new supply would serve operations including R&D, design and chip manufacturing. TSE said the contract followed earlier agreements with several French companies. The firm stated that its teams were prepared to handle required project activities.
