TotalEnergies, a France-based integrated multi-energy company, has sold a 50% stake in its Greek subsidiary to Asterion Industrial Partners, a Spain-based infrastructure investment firm. Watson Farley & Williams advised TotalEnergies on this transaction, which values the 424 MW wind and PV portfolio at €508 million (~$594 million) or €1.2m per installed MW (~$1.4 million per installed MW). The portfolio contains 374 MW of operational assets and 50 MW under construction. The transactional asset including 204 MW PV and 220 MW wind in Peloponnese, East Macedonia & Thrace, and Central Greece. TotalEnergies will manage the offtake and marketing of most electricity produced by its Greek portfolio, specifically after the existing regulated tariffs expire. The WFW Athens team led by Partner Virginia Murray handled due diligence, regulatory, finance, and corporate restructuring aspects.
