France headquartered TotalEnergies has commissioned the Dehesa Nueva del Rey photovoltaic plant in Castilla-La Mancha Toledo, with a capacity of 59 MW. The project covered in area of 85.2 hectares and followed an investment of more than €40 million (`$ 47.29 million). The construction involved 21 companies, including 14 from La Mancha. It has generated more than 100 direct and indirect jobs during the development and construction phases. Once operational, the plant’s more than 95,000 solar panels can generate electricity equivalent to the estimated annual consumption of over 33,000 homes. They can also prevent the emission of more than 32,000 tons of CO₂ each year.
TotalEnergies commissions 59 MW solar plant in Toledo
The 59 MW Dehesa Nueva del Rey solar plant in Seseña, Toledo, was commissioned by TotalEnergies following a €40 million investment covering jobs, land use, and power output.
