Technique Solaire Group, a France-based independent renewable energy producer, has completed the acquisition of 100% of Iberdrola’s French onshore business from Iberdrola Renouvelables, S.A.S. The transaction has added 118 MW of wind assets currently in operation and a 639 MW pipeline of wind and solar projects under development in France. This acquired portfolio has marked the Group’s entry into the French onshore wind sector while integrating wind, PV and battery energy storage system technologies within its operating platform. The closing of the share purchase has included the transfer of 21 employees, strengthening technical and operational functions within the organization. Following the acquisition, Technique Solaire Group operates nearly 920 MW of solar and wind assets and 4 biogas production units across France, Spain, India and the Netherlands.
