SMA Solar Technology, a Germany-based manufacturer of inverters, has expanded its large-scale solution portfolio with the 40 ft Medium Voltage Power Station-9200 for European PV and BESS projects. The system has combined two inverters, two transformers, and switchgear within a compact skidtainer for simplified design and installation. SMA Solar Technology stated that the unit has supported faster deployment through integrated engineering and streamlined logistics. The solution has operated at 1500 VDC and offered redundancy for higher availability during maintenance work. CEP, an Italy-based medium-voltage specialist, has contributed development support for transformers and switchgear integration. SMA Solar Technology noted that SiC-equipped inverters have reduced energy losses and supported predictable operating costs for long-duration storage projects.
