Segen Ltd., an UK-based renewable energy technology distributor, has announced a six-month exclusive distribution agreement with EV charging provider 3ti. The agreement covers the supply of 3ti’s rapid-deploy smart solar EV Charging FastHub, Papilio3, for commercial use across the UK. The FastHub is equipped with 12 fast-charging 22 kW AC charging points and operates using a 20 kW integrated solar array. The FastHub occupies a 40ft footprint and includes integrated CCTV, lighting, and a protective canopy and is suitable for car parks with at least 12 parking spaces. The system has been designed for installation in less than one day without planning permission or major groundwork requirements. The unit operates using existing grid connections, removing the need for grid upgrades. The system's intelligent power management technology balances on-site solar generation, grid electricity, and EV charging demand. Recently, BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and Segen have launched Segen Finance to provide zero-cost solar and storage leasing in the UK and Germany.
