RP Global and MaxSolar GmbH have entered a long-term cooperation to jointly develop, finance, build and operate utility-scale PV and battery storage projects across Germany. The cooperation targeted more than 100 MW of new capacity per year. The cooperation combined RP Global’s investment and development background with MaxSolar’s EPC and operational experience. Both companies were already collaborating on the 49.5 MW Harbke PV project, which is under implementation and another joint project in Germany was scheduled to start construction. The cooperation focused on integrating storage to support grid stability and improve solar power availability in line with system needs, with projects structured to meet defined technical and economic requirements.
